Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane Australia was the birthplace and the place where my parents were raised. Daughter of British parents. Clemens started acting in Australian television during high school. She appeared as Juliet in the show Blue Water High in 2006 and starred in the role of Alison as part of the Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's program in 2007. Clemens was the lead character of Harper in Love My Way, a Showtime drama in the in the same year. For the role she was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens played the role as a character in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film featuring Sigrid Thonton, Xavier Sam Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. Additionally, she played minor role on All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. She became the model for Jan Logan's jewelery in that year.Clemens moved her home to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens played Xandrie as Xandrie, in the film Wasted on the Young (2010). Clemens co-starred with Gregg Sulkin in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Cary Elwes, Samantha Mathis and Cary Elwes. She was Heather Mason, a teenager in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The movie was inspired by the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to Silent Hill.That year Clemens also played the lead part as a young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End an adaptation for television to The Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens was the first actress to make her debut in film in 2012's horror"No One Lives with Luke Evans. She appeared as well in The Great Gatsby (2013) the film that was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's book with the same title. The role she played was Catherine, the sister to Myrtle Wilson (Isla Fisher). Clemens is Tawney Talbot, the star for Ray McKinnon's Sundance Channel TV miniseries Rectify. She will also star with Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
