LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984 is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). The player is referred to for his role as King James and is considered as one of the most successful basketball players in history. James is the winner of four NBA Championships, the four NBA MVP Awards as well as the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won 2 Olympic Gold medals. James has scored the most points in the playoffs the second most career points and is the seventh player with the most career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. He was also selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times in a row between the years 2011-2018. In 2018 James was also chosen to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. In 2021, James was selected to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media hailed James as an NBA star. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the top league players winning his NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009. James, who was unable to take home the title at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and signed with the Miami Heat. This was revealed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a sports free-agent in history.
