LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James has been widely considered to be the greatest of all time players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually considered when discussing who's the greatest player. James has won four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as 2 Olympic medals. James is the player with the most points during playoffs and has and has the second highest number of career points and is the seventh player with the most career assists. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James has also been selected to make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He's played in 10 NBA Finals the third most ever, including eight times in a row between 2011 and 2018. In 2021, James was selected to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 points or more in a career rebounds and assists. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national press praised James as an NBA star. As a prep to pro his dream, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall during the NBA draft of 2003. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the top league players by winning an NBA MVP title in 2010 and 2009. James, who failed to win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was disclosed as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a player who was a free agent the history of sports.
