Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most well-known role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. Her previous experience includes working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on each of the US House and Senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and Super Committee discussions. She also served as a general assignment reporter and covered such topics as for instance the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme court's decision concerning Obamacare as well as the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. She provided feature stories and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter.
